Highly esteemed colleagues,

I would like to start by sharing with you how proud I am of our company and its employees. In my wildest dreams I could not have imagined that it would grow to this size, stable and professional, with expertise in various disciplines. This is not least due to your dedication, and we would like to thank you once again. I have worked with many of you for years, some very closely, others more indirectly, but all in a very pleasant and constructive manner. Without your involvement and professionalism we would not have had such a beautiful company.  

A well-considered decision has led me, after 28 years, to transfer the rest of my shares to our current shareholder Oppertunity Partners, the investment company of Robert van der Wallen and his team. With this, the company and its employees have found a reliable and experienced owner, who will guarantee future growth and ensure safety in times of crisis.

You will notice little of the new situation. Kees van Es, Jasper Rikken and Rik van Vliet will remain responsible for the daily management. In recent months I have enjoyed seeing the success of the synergy of these three men, and I leave my great pride in them. Thanks to them for that as well.

For me personally, it means racing again. In the coming period I will be busy developing real estate, a nice logistics project in Amsterdam. Something I am looking forward to and that deserves my full attention.

Naturally I will continue to follow the Beelen companies, and I will even remain involved as an advisor to Beelen. This way I can suggest work where desired, and be a sounding board for the management.

All that remains is to wish you, also on behalf of Ellen, good health. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones, in these unusual times, take care of each other.
